To raise money for Sanitation first we have the 3 peak challenge next on the agenda which is climbing 3 of the most gruelling mountains in Yorkshire…all in a day! Some members of the team will also be dressing up (or down!) during the challenge, photos to follow! Thank you to all our colleagues, clients, family and friends who have donated so far. If anyone else is kind enough to donate to the amazing Sanitation First, you can do so here: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Team/HowdenMandA
Given the Yorkshire challenge has been postponed until next year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Howden M&A team decided on a separate mission - everyone in the company to complete as many kilometres (kms) as they could in a morning. Examples of activities undertaken included walking, cycling, running, rollerblading, swimming, scootering, wakeboarding and climbing. The team managed to collectively complete 1120.03 kms! Thank you all for your kind donations, which will go to Sanitation First, helping us achieve our ultimate goal of £10,000. Here’s a selection of photos from the various activities:
The Howden Team also recently supported the Royal Marines Community Partnership, having a great night watching some excellent boxing!
Every Howden M&A employee was kindly donated £100 by Joe O’Brien to support local and national charities across Europe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are a selection of the charities that received donations.
A number of our team have also been spending time over recent months volunteering in their local communities – activities have included the setting up of local foodbanks and the manufacturing of scrubs for the NHS.Please continue to check this page for updates on our future charitable initiatives!
